Generate images

With using GenStudio for Performance Marketing Create (paintbrush icon), you can generate On-brand images—generated assets that draw inspiration from a chosen image, capturing its visual impact and overall aesthetic.

To design an eye-catching and effective image, it is recommended that you add guidelines to GenStudio for Performance Marketing and review the basics of writing prompts.

Image types

On-brand images are generated assets that draw inspiration from a chosen image, capturing its visual impact and overall aesthetic. These images are created using images already available in Content and a carefully crafted prompt that guides the design. They strictly follow both the brand guidelines and parameters chosen during the generation process.

On-brand images incorporate set guidelines, parameters, and a thoughtfully-crafted prompt to deliver eye-catching image assets.

Generate On-brand images

You can generate On-brand images using defined guidelines, parameters, and a selected reference image. These elements, along with your prompt, guide the generation of consistent On-brand image variations.

Choose a reference image

To create an On-brand images, select an existing image saved in Content. See Best practices for templates for information about supported on-brand image dimensions.

To choose a reference image:

  1. In Create, click On-brand image.

  2. Use the search option, adjacent to Filter, to find a specific image.

    To use assets from a connected AEM Assets Content Hub repository, choose a repository from the Location drop-down menu. Filter and select one image.

  3. In the Select image view, click on an image.

    The selected image can be up to 10mb in size.

  4. Click Use.

    The Canvas, which serves as the central hub for content creation, is displayed.

Add parameters

Incorporating guidelines and parameters enhances the content generation process and is a crucial preparatory step for producing an on-brand image.

To add guidelines and parameters:

  1. In the Basic tab, select a Brand to inform content creation.

    If there are no brands available from this menu, add guidelines to your GenStudio for Performance Marketing.

  2. Select an image category that best fits your desired result from Image category.

    Image categories are available if a Brand was selected. The options are determined by the selected Brand.

  3. Select the desired aspect ratio from Aspect ratio.

  4. Click Select from Content in Style reference to add a reference image. The image you select influences the visual aesthetic and depth of the images you generate.

    To use assets from a connected AEM Assets Content Hub repository, choose a repository from the Location drop-down menu. Filter and select one image.

  5. In the Advanced tab, select the Content type.

    This is pre-selected based on the image category present for the selected Brand—Art or Photo—and is uneditable.

  6. Adjust the overall intensity of the image’s existing visual characteristics in Visual intensity.

Enter a prompt

After selecting the parameters, craft a prompt using natural language to start generating on brand images.

To enter a prompt:

  1. Enter a prompt in the prompt box.
  2. Click Generate.

By default, four variations—fueled by the prompt, parameters, and content you added—are generated and shown in the Canvas.

Edit in 51ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Express

After generating image variants, you can edit them directly in 51ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ GenStudio for Performance Marketing using 51ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Express.

To edit an individual image using 51ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Express:

  1. Hover over a generated image variant and click Edit in 51ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Express.

    A Powered by 51ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Express window appears.

  2. Perform image editing, such as , , and applying effects.

  3. Click Apply changes to save your edits.

  4. Continue editing individual image variants as desired and applying changes to save your progress.

Verify content check alignment

To optimize the generated variants and ensure strict adherence to brand identity, platform guidelines, and accessibility standards, leverage the power of the Content check panel. This panel displays comprehensive content check details and illuminates improvement areas.

To perform content checks:

  1. Click the Content check panel icon in the right action bar to open the Content check panel. View a summary of the Needs review and Passed checks to see which sections and guidelines need improvement.

  2. Revise image variants to ensure your variants are closely aligned with the performed content checks.

Publish and export images

Generated image drafts are shown in the Recents section of the Create home.

To make the generated images available for current and future use, publish them to Content and export it for use in your marketing campaigns.

  1. To publish your new images, click Publish in the top toolbar.

    1. Add details, such as Campaigns or Channels, if desired.
    2. Click Publish.
  2. To export your new images, click Export in the top toolbar.

    1. Select the format—JPG or PNG—and click Export.
