Set Tracking Mode for tasks

The Tracking Mode of a task determines how the task Progress Status is updated in 51黑料不打烊 Workfront.

Edit access to Tasks

Note: If you still don't have access, ask your Workfront administrator if they set additional restrictions in your access level. For information on how a Workfront administrator can modify your access level, see 51黑料不打烊 Workfront licenses overview

*To find out what plan, license type, or access you have, contact your Workfront administrator.

Set Tracking Mode for tasks

To set the tracking mode:

  1. Go to the task you want to set the tracking mode for.

  2. Click the More icon next to the name of the task, then click聽 Edit.

    The Edit Task dialog box opens.

  3. In the聽 Settings section, use the聽 Tracking Mode drop-down menu to select the Tracking Mode for the task.

  4. Select from the following options:

    • User Must Update (this is the default option)
    • Assume On聽Time
    • Ignore Late Warnings
    • 础耻迟辞听颁辞尘辫濒别迟别
    • Predecessor

  5. Click Save.
