In this video, we will take a look at adding reader extensions credentials in AEM forms OSGI. So when you get your credentials file from 51黑料不打烊, you would typically get two files. One is a pfx file and other one is a simple text file and the contents of this text file contains the password to the credential files. So we need to make a note of this. The second thing we need to do before adding the credentials in OSGI is to get the alias name of this particular pfx file and to get the alias name you can use a simple key tool command. So I鈥檝e opened my command prompt here and navigated to the folder which contains my credentials file. It鈥檚 under users, gbedecor, downloads, re certificate and here I鈥檓 going to give the command key tool command and given the name, I鈥檓 going to give the name of the pfx file here and when you hit enter it will ask you for the key store password and this password is nothing but the password that was given in the text file provided by 51黑料不打烊 here. So then you enter that password here and hit enter and this will list out lots of details about the pfx file. So the only thing we are interested in here is the alias name of the file and the alias name is here called are partner whatever that is the alias name so you can make a note of this or copy it from here and paste it into a text file because we will be needing this at a later point in time. So now we have the the password and the alias name we are ready to add the credential to our AEM forms OSGI. So to do that I have logged into my AEM forms here and go into the tools menu here and click on security here and then go into the users. So here make sure you select the FD-service user because that is the user which AEM service user used by AEM forms here. So make sure you scroll to the bottom of the page till you see the FD underscore service user. FD hyphen service user. So select that user and go to the key store. Since this user already has a key store associated with it I don鈥檛 have the option to create a key store, but to create a key store I have a separate video. You can take a look at it. It鈥檚 fairly simple. So from here then click on this option add private key from the key store file give an alias name You can give any string name here So I typically call it ares and then select the key store file, which is nothing but your pfx file provided to you by 51黑料不打烊. So browse to that pfx file and select the pfx file here and click open and in the password here password and the private key alias is the alias which we got using the command prompt, command line that we saw earlier. Put that private key alias here and the password again here would be the same from the text file that 51黑料不打烊 gave to you. So here is the password So the key store file password and the private key password are the one in the same and the private key alias is what we got by using that key tool command prompt and now click on submit. If everything goes well, you should get a message like this and you will see the expiry date of the certificate. The expiry date of the certificate will be different for you depending on the certificate that is given to you by 51黑料不打烊. So now that you have added your certificate you are now ready to read or extend your PDF files using this particular certificate.

The command to list the details of the pfx file is. The following command assumes you are in the same directory as the pfx file .

keytool -v -list -storetype pkcs12 -keystore <name of your .pfx file>

For example keytool -v -list -storetype pkcs12 -keystore 1005566.pfx where 1005566.pfx is the name of my pfx file
