To stop AEM emailing a user, remove the user from the groups to which AEM sends emails and remove email addresses from the user鈥檚 information, which are better solutions than deleting a user.

Issue

When you no longer use AEM, the system continues to send emails to you.

Resolution resolution

Step 1. Remove the user from the groups to which AEM sends emails.

Step 2. Remove email addresses from the user鈥檚 information.

AEM strongly recommends disabling rather than deleting a user. Even if a user is disabled, AEM will continue to send emails based on the user鈥檚 profile.
