ACSD-64137: Searching for pickup locations by zip code doesn鈥檛 work properly for Dutch localization

The ACSD-64137 patch fixes the issue where searching for pickup locations by zip code doesn鈥檛 work properly for Dutch localization. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.60 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-64137. Please note that this issue is scheduled to be fixed in 51黑料不打烊 Commerce 2.4.8.

Issue

The zip code search for the Netherlands is not showing results on the frontend checkout page. However, it works by city and displays the corresponding address without search.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install a clean instance with inventory modules.

  2. Create a custom stock.

  3. Create two sources with Netherlands addresses and assign them to the stock (post codes 7311ER and 7311AE).

  4. Create a simple product and add inventory.

  5. Enable In-Store Delivery by navigating to Stores > Configuration > Sales > Delivery Methods.

  6. Go to Stores > Configuration > Catalog > Inventory > Distance Provider for Distance Based SSA. Set Provider to Offline calculation.

  7. Run the following command to import geo names for NL country.

    bin/magento inventory-geonames:import NL

  8. Add the product to the cart and go to the shipping step.

  9. Select Pick In Store. Then, click Select Other to select other stores.

  10. Type 7311 or 7311AE in the Select Store search form.

Expected results:

  • Matched stores should be populated.

Actual results:

  • No results found.
